简介：

故事讲及几代人的关係，当中有家庭温情及价值观话题。不同年代的人对道德与伦理有不同的价值观，来自上20世纪40年代的人，被急冻到了21世纪2018年才解冻，要适应现代的生活环境，会有轻鬆的一面。

故事以日战时期（即1940年代，主要是731部队事件）作背景，30岁游击队成员钟定国（陈家乐饰）被日军冷冻长埋实验室，七十三年后於意外中被解冻甦醒。定国千辛万苦终於在2018年找到年届73岁的儿子贺和平（姜大卫饰）及47岁的孙儿贺永年（黎耀祥饰），却发现贺和平為人狡猾，骗取综援；贺永年则迷信风水命理，贪钱成性。钟定国惟有力挽狂澜，希望将子孙拉回正途。与此同时，钟定国被政府安排到社署工作，结识了中日混血儿庄司晨（林夏薇饰），更衝破矛盾相恋。神秘富豪翁芷蕎（夏文汐饰）恋上暖男才俊汤泽澄（黎诺懿饰），却牵涉在汤泽澄的谋杀官司，為摆脱罪名，聘请已成為著名玄学家的贺永年摆风水阵作法。贺永年财迷心窍，罔顾是非黑白，种下祸根，更牵连到贺和平及钟定国，捲入另一宗谋杀案，一切不幸的事也从此刻开始，灾祸也陆续有来的一一来临...
