简介：　

神秘的心理学专家薄靳言（霍建华饰），招募大四学生简瑶（马思纯饰）作为翻译和生活助手，他一方面用自己的高智商和专业知识教导简瑶，将她培养成探案助手，二人携手侦破青少年连环失踪等棘手凶杀案件；另一方面，他在朝夕相处中对简瑶渐生情愫，而他高智商低情商的巨大反差也给这段情愫增添了不少乐趣。二人感情逐渐升温之际，危险也在悄然降临。数年前，作为马里兰大学犯罪心理专业最年轻教授的薄靳言，在美国时追查轰动一时的“鲜花食人魔”一案，曾与食人魔谢晗（张鲁一饰）交锋。简瑶被谢晗绑架，而这一切竟只为了逼迫出薄靳言所谓的第二人格……为救简瑶，薄靳言在好友李熏然（王凯饰）傅子遇（尹正饰）等人的帮助下，与谢晗巧妙周旋，终于救出简瑶，惩治了杀人魔谢晗。该剧改编自丁墨同名小说。
